5. Is Permanent Make-Up safe?
Yes, it is extremely safe. Meticulous standards of hygiene are demonstrated with the use of disposable implements throughout treatment. I guarantee to use only hypo-allergenic, pharmaceutical grade pigments which are selected for their complete purity and proven safety.

6. Is there a risk of infection?
At all times, we adhere to the strictest hygiene and sanitation procedures. We only use sterile, disposable needles, which are opened in front of each client, and are used for your complete safety. vvvA lip-liner may occasionally cause a cold sore outbreak as the area of skin has been traumatised, but this can only happen if the client already has the herpes simplex 1 virus in their body. In other words, the client has a history of cold sore attacks. To prevent this, we will recommend some medication which you will have to get from your doctor as it is a prescription only medicine. You will need to take this for five days in order to stop a herpes simplex VS1 outbreak and you will need to start taking it as advised.

7. Is it expensive?
Not if you look at the long-term cost and effects. It costs more than a year's cosmetics bill, but is little compared to three years of daily make-up expenses it doesn't run or wash off and is a great time-saver. It's worth every penny to make the most of your natural beauty. It really is what we've all been waiting for.

8. What if I don’t like it?
My expertise and professional consultation ensures I will understand your needs and desires. I will tell you exactly what is achievable and will use ordinary make up to demonstrate my suggestions. What’s more, I will custom blend colour specifically for you. You are involved in the process at every step so rest assured, together we can realise your dream look.

9. Will it look false and unnatural?
Absolutely not! My signature brows and lips are always natural and delicate. I maintain that a person looks best with a ‘fresh faced’ look.

10. How long will it last?
Many months to a few years. Again this depends entirely on the individual’s after-care and the body’s own unique rate of cell regeneration. In the initial 4 weeks care should be taken not to expose the treated areas to strong UVA rays, chlorine, salts and saunas, as these will reduce the life of your treatment.
As an ongoing precaution we would recommend a total sun block on the treated areas when going on sunning holidays and when using artificial tanning aids since the UVA will eventually bleach out the pigment. To keep your Permanent make-up in tip-top condition with true colour retention we would recommend a colour booster every year to 18 months and this will be reflected in the price at time of procedure

11.What is the healing period like?
On the second day after a procedure is performed, a light dryness will form which is only dry to the touch which will fall off in a few days. During this time the pigmented area will look a little darker than your desired shade. However, after the dryness flakes off the colour will lighten by up to 30%.

12.What about recovery time?
There is rarely any swelling and if there is it is minimal. The needles we use are so fine and are made using the latest technology in laser-cutting techniques. Trauma is greatly reduced and causes no scarring unlike a lot of inferior products still used by many today. The products are hypoallergenic, so allergy risks are reduced even further. However in the unlikely event that you do experience some swelling, ice packs can be used for short periods to reduce this and in any case should not last for more than a day or so. You can continue with your schedule as you normally would with no down time

13.What can I expect after the procedure?
Immediately after the treatment you may experience some mild swelling and redness, which will subside between 2 – 4 hours. Most normal activities can be resumed immediately after the procedure. The treated area will look considerably darker about 30-50% for a few days after and as the skin heals and rejuvenates, the colour will soften and lighten, revealing a more natural desired look.

14. How soon can I go out?
Immediately! As mentioned earlier, the colour may appear a little darker than required for the first few days. With out techniques the dryness is hardly visible, but never enough to be noticeable.

15.How long will the procedure take?
Depending on the area of application, the procedure will take from one to two hours to complete. 2-3 hours is allocated for each appointment to allow for careful consideration of shape and colour

16. Can I wear make up after?
Yes, we recommend you avoid rubbing the treated area and using new or sanitised wands, brushes and applicators. Once healed, you can wear as much or little conventional make up as you desire.

17. Can I play sport or go swimming immediately after?
Plan to stay away from sports the same day as your treatment, thereafter is fine. Avoid swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms for at least 7 days.

18.Are there consent forms or medical forms to fill out?
Yes. All consent and medical forms must be completely filled out before your actual procedure. After the treatment you will receive aftercare advice Form.
